What would have happened if we had perfect "Musky" weather?

Seems a few more fish are in that lake than I had heard. I'll be back.

Thanks sir, looks like the muskies cooperated pretty well over on the Chip.

Honestly the fishing was slower than it has been. The day before the tournament the fish went off. There were some good fish caught, don't get me wrong, but it was better before the weekend. The thing that helped was that the cold front got the tigers going. We hadn't been catching that many until mid-week. There were a lot of great anglers out there. Awesome tigers!

Yes, it was a great time, some real good tigers, and chucky 40's came out of the chip, been over in hayward for several years and never gave it much time if any. Well after being on it for the few days, I will be spending some more time on the chip. Great job Ty off doubling, did you feel a little pressure to place? Watched 6 boats run over reef, 1 judge boat ran it over after being warned entering the bay, watch the other beach his on a Island. LMAO!!!!!!!

Troyz

PS Cady a little birdy told me you quit fishing, and was your partner who had to talk you into finishing the event on sunday, then you stick a fish, could this be the next Team of Year!

I agree with Ty, if we would have had better weather the fish caught would have been amazing. Both for numbers and size.We moved a lot of nice fish on Thursday and Friday.

I went out Sunday evening(nobody on the lake, a liitle different atmosphere than during tourny hours) and caught a very chunky 44" by 20.5". 15 minutes later I had a much larger fish follow. The fishing has really picked up on the Chip and it should just be incredible for the whole month of September.

Look at all the nice fish caught out of Indian Trails in the last two weeks. A 50" release and several mid to upper 40's.

Any coincidence that the fishing has picked up on the Chip in both size and numbers since the size limit increase to 45"? I'm thinking no!

Troyz, Yes I really wanted to get some fish in this one. You know how it goes with the whole home water thing. All the entrants figured the lake out incredibly well for not being on it that long. I'm thinking there will be a few really big fish caught in the next two weeks. Hopefully they will all be released.

Good finish for Duane landmier and Dana Smith. Two good guys. Mike Saviski was really pumped up about the tournament, hard to believe catching one fish could put you in 25th place.
