Location: Eastern Ontario | will his mom cooperate.
Was out yesterday with my lucky charm ( my 8 yr old son ) and within 1.5 hours he landed a fat 52 x 22 inch muskie. That kid has been in the boat on the BigO 3 times with me this year and two 52's one 53.5 and a 49 incher were landed.
Now I just need to convince his mom to let me take him out of school and use him once in a while this fall whenever I'm in a slump.

I took my sons out of school to hunt and to fish, averaging about 2 weeks a year. When the school used to question the trip, I'd ask them if in that period of time anything in the school schedule would equal the education they would receive traveling to Canada, South Dakota, Wyoming, North Dakota. etc. Always took them to local points of interest, and museums in each area. I'll remember those trips until I'm 6' under. Treasure the moments, sir! |
