Headed to LOTW late this month. This is our 6th time and so far we've had good results for the most part during this time frame. We'll be fishing out of Duck Bay Lodge on Hay Island. (Our first stay there).

Last year we hit em pretty good and I jhave high hopes again this year. I hope it cools off some. Any tips?

Thanks

Kurt

I'm heading up in September the 2nd. Where have you fished in the past?

All over. Our tactic last year was to hit the "sweet spots" on a point or island and then move to the next one. We always look for shallow rocks and weed combination.

It's a lot of pulling the trolling motor in and out of the water, but it proved to be productive. Top Raiders and Jackpots were the ticket.

Kurt,

My girlfriend, Kim, and I will be at Duck Bay Lodge from Sunday, 8/28 until Sunday 9/3.
Perhaps we will see you there !! Musky hunters are usually in the minority there. But, the food served there is most excellent !!

I just read SkyShot's report. I got a sick feeling in my gut. I hope we do better!

If this North West Air strike continues, I may be stuck in KY.
