Uh, ....... too busy to post???
Actually the bite has been dreadfully slow. Not just my experience either. Lots of lookers but not many takers. I'll post more tonight when I get home. There are some bright spots so stay tuned. It could help. Long story short....topwater.
Be back soon. Sorry. I just now saw the request for info.

Being a family vacation we tailor the fishing more towards pike and bass. I did however, get out a total of around 9 hours over the week. The musky were easy enough to locate but not as willing to bite as you would like. My next door neighbor at Muskego managed a 39 and a beautiful 48 1/4. Many of you will know him as "Lunker_1" or "jyoung". These were the only 2 muskies I heard being caught the entire week. Surely others were caught but not much chatter was getting around the lake. If you look at reports before we got there and add our experience I'd say topwater will get the most consistant results. We saw a mid 50's and Lunker_1 confirmed the sighting and size. Everything was relating to rocks on the west end. The 48 1/4 was caught right on top of a reef in a foot of water. I had her follow me the previous day from exactly the same spot. That's pretty much it.
Hope this helps.
