Location: Appleton,WI | Actually the 51 1/5 came off a spot on the spot reef, never boat a fish there after him,the 51,45,43,came off the same spot in 2 days and it was a spot that the first day i fished it i didnt think it looked good,so i guess a bad looking spot catches fish, the last day i fished on that spot i parked on it for 3 hours and raised 8 fish lost one about 44-46 at the net and missed one!,so i guess i learned a lesson on that spot.
Had one island that it didnt matter when you fished it but there was always a mid 40's hanging out on the rock finger would blow up on the topwater and miss every time.
Had another spot that didnt look like much too and tuesday i raised a low 50 on a creeper off it and never fished it the rest of the week.
It was a good time raised anywhere from 3-10 fish each day but i also put in 10-14 hours a day on the water.Wasent much of a night bite every thing came in the early morning hours. |
