Depends where your fishing, the east end is stained, you can see maybe 3' down. the west is clear and you can see 8-10 feet down with the help of the sun. Each basin across the lake is a little different.

The water can certainly vary. I have seen fairly clear to red, brown and black water depending on where you are. I am sure there is probably some bloom in the water too but not excessive like on lotw.

Bloom is not excessive yet on the west end. You can still see about 6-8" down. Just got back from there yesterday. Reports later.

Only been on the East end this year. Visbility ranged from 2-5' in places. Pike Bay, where I was staying visibility was less than a foot, dark tea/reddish colored water. Very much dependent on where you are.
