Who's headed to points far from home waters this August, and where are you planning your trip? I'm thinking about a short trip the middle of the month coupled with a sales trip to Minnesota, fishing three or four lakes during that week.

Two glorious weeks on Cass coming up in Aug. The trip starts out with a full day guide trip with Cady. Hopefully he can put me on spots/fish to sustain me for the remainder.

Probably doing most of my muskie fishin' alone, so if anyone else is in the area and available, let's get together. PM me to arrange.

E-rookie,
I didn't know there was a fishable population of muskie in the Get er dun saloon? That's Cady's Bemidji milk run!

I've got three days on the Chippewa Flowage with at least one full day with the "little giant among muskie guides", Dave Dorazio as guide! Wait a minute aren't all muskie guides little guys?
It is my first time on the Chip since the middle 80's. The muskie fingerling that was there then, should be just about ready to catch by now!

Headed to Cass Lake to fish it and the lakes in the area. I have fished Cass twice with the PMTT but have yet to land
a Musky. Will be up there with Husky Jerk 8/5-8/12.

Good luck to all!

Headed to the Chip on the 11th, since I have no clue where to start I hired Ty Sennett for the 12th & Tanner Wildes on the 13th. Will give it a solo flight on the 14th & see what I learned, I wont have any cash left to hire another gide anyway! #*^@. I'm in the wrong buisness!!

Rat Belly Rumble in Bemidji 8/18-21.
Looking forward to catching up with Greg Morse and checking out his new business- the Git R Dun saloon. Hopefully, we can actually get Greg out of his business obligations for a bit and get him out on the lake fishing with us !
