I'm thinking of a new boat that we'll use for big water and all other favorite places. I want to stay out in 2'waves(plus 2' troughs) . I want my wife to be comfortable after fishing with me since the 70's.( Wisc river in March to late October in Mn.) We deserve a windshield. I'm thinking about MilleLacs, Leech, LOTW, Green Bay, Georgian Bay and
the big river systems . I stopped listening to pros"going 50 in 6'ers in my bass boat" years ago. I have a boat I'm thinking about that is aluminium, has a 23 degree deadrise and is well made. The pics show I need changes for 8-10' rods and storage of my 125 lures that accompany us , but I think I've found the near perfect boat for me. If you fish big water, I'd appreciate your thoughts........

Looks like a boat made in Minnesota called Lake Assault, looks very seaworthy. |

| I would suggest looking at a Tracker Tundra, either the 20 or 21 foot model.
I looked at the Lake Assault boat, it is nice, also expensive.
I went with a Tundra and am very happy.
Handles Lake Michigan with out a problem.
Plenty of storage too. |

Location: Cave Run Lake KY. | Check out Lund & Alumacraft both are pricy but hold there value, also look into a inboard as it gives you more room for fishing out the back, a 15hp kicker can handel a 21ft.er. I just got back from Lake St. Clair, and the 21ft lund was good in 4 fters. Dont go cheap on big water. Tack Care Marv. |

| You simply have to check out the Bay Cat made by Bass Cat boats. Bass Cat is a family run business with an impecable reputation. They have very limited exposure in the north. They were just awarded the winner in the customer satisfaction for fiberglass boat division. Like all Bass Cats the Bay Cat is basically a one piece cinstructed custom boat built with the same quality as their bass boat line. The Bay Cat is 21'7" with a 99" beam center console. I believe this boat to be the ideal big water musky boat.

Location: minocqua, wi. | i've got this one for sale this year and it will be a bargain against anything you might be looking at. big water boat that has the versatility for everything else. i got into it cheap new, 2 seasons on it and it's going to sell for a bargain against anything in its class. well maintained, rigged and ready.
