| I just returned from fishing in the Muskie Inc. Gil Hamm Challenge held in Minaki Ontario. I sadly must report that some equipment was stolen from a couple of the boats. I had a box of topwaters stolen and the boats on the other side of the dock lost all ( 6 ) custom made rods with 7000 reels and a box of bucktails. It was especially bad because they were heading to LOTW from there to fish for another week. What a bummer. It is just a reminder to keep an eye on our expensive gear. Some the baits cannot be replaced when you think that you buy a homemade bait that someone who only makes 20 or 25 of a year. I guess I will have to get my name back on the waiting list for baits. |

We took most of our stuff in every night when we stayed at Red Door Resort on the Big Pond in MN last week.
You never know when it might happen, then its too late.
I hope everything else went great for you and the boys Dennis. |

| Had three custom rods (even had my name on them) and reels stolen from my boat in Minaki in the mid-eighties. They got them in broad daylight in the time it took me to pull the truck and trailer around to load up the boat. They are good and it sounds like they are still at it. Beware guys!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| replacing sentimental value is not cheap either. always no matter where you are, take your stuff out and lock it up. I would strangle someone if that happened to me, and it might not be the guy who did it. brain anhuerism! death, where do you start again? |

Location: Woodridge, Ill | You know, cause it happened to me way out here on the west coast ; just to catch someone in the act, would be worth it, I would cherish that moment. But I would rather have it back there, out here criminals have more rights than me. Either way it's charma, what comes around goes around. Sooner or later they all get caught, they get over confident or lazy. It's a fact. And to be there when that happens, oh |
