| I am thinking about trying flourocarbon leaders for trolling this summer any suggestion on brands,lb test and is there good knot to tie or a lock knot type of product I should use. | |

| Renegade,Fluro has been very good in my opinion.
Although I do use several different poundages.
I like 200 pound, mainly for giving lift to my baits.I use a combo of 200 pound fluro with 63 pound dacron.
This combo allows me to get maximum lift with my baits for either trolling up close or dropping baits back all in the same time keeping my baits high in the water column.
I also use 100 pound, wich in this case I will use wire or super braids like Whiplash. This combo provides depth.
Some guys prefer knot tie, myself I like using double crimps.Good snaps and barrel swivel complete a quality leader.Reason I like using crimps is you create a loop where your snap is,thus allowing your bait a more free swimming motion.I use Seaguard.Dont tie or put together myself but have a friend who stock piles them for me.We are continously adapting or changing them to our needs.
Some like them ,some are skeptical but overall myself I am quite satisfied with them.
