Was there two weeks ago and the muskies were slow. Did not hear of much happeneing. The weather has stayed warm so it's will probably only be better than it was when i was there.

Just got back from Vermilion fishing on the west end tonight. I lost 2 50"+ and my buddy also lost a 50"r. I landed 3 and another guy we were with caught one for the week. Lost some other fish. The 40"plus I boated looked small compared to the ones we seen and lost. I caught my first fish on a black bulldawg and every other fish came on a bucktail. The fish are very, very fat and not very deep. During the day you can see them sitting just a few feet below the surface, but they wont go for anything. Just have to be there when they turn on. It was an awesome trip. My first time on Vermilion.
