Sue and I leave Saturday morning for the Goon, ready to rock a few big girls in the Frabill. We will 'natural fish', getting up when we feel like it and fishing until we feel like not. Indian Point Camp, the best resort on the system, has wireless internet, so I'll be posting success or lack thereof a few times during the week.

Where are you headed chasing muskies this 4th of July weekend? Be careful on the roads, on the water, and enjoy your holiday.

After the mini musky marathon Lori and I had last weekend, we are laying low, and gearing up for a 4 day weekend next weekend in Rhinelander! Mr. Worral, will you be back by 7/7-7/11? Always did want to meet you in person, since we were on George at the same time and did't even know it. Lori and I will be staying at the Lake george campground that weekend.

Actually, I will not be fishing this weekend, unless I take the kids out messing for walleye or panfish. I WILL be getting things packed for our trip to LOTW next weekend. Having to work all next week cuts in on the prep time. Have to do it while I can.

Good luck Steve and Sue!!! Have a safe trip up and back. I am working up on the 8th and going in on the 9th. I will be back on the 16th. I will miss Pelican for league, but back for Crescent, Oneida and Hancock.

Have a good weekend everyone and be safe out there.

RL,

We are fishing the NW Angle. Staying at Youngs Bay Resort. My daughter and I are headed up, but a buddy of mine is staying his second week up there with us. He is up there now. Just talked to him today when he was between Baudette and Warroad. Said it was 54, windy and heavy rain. Suppose to be 80 and nice by Saturday though I guess.

Sab is a little out of my way. I am going to have to dodge all of the little boys in their toys from the Musky Hunter School and Rick Kruegers School that are up there from the 9th-16th. They will see my spray as I go by and then good luck finding me. That is where the colored GPS with a chip will come in really handy in the evening. I just do not want to play tag with any of those rocks out there.

If you are going up with Jonesi, as in Steve, MAY GOD HELP YOU!!! You could at least find a better fishing partner that can actually catch fish. Heck, he can name every musky bait that was ever made, but he has a definite problem using them. They all seem to still have that new look with no teeth marks on them. LOL (gotchya Mr. Jonesi )

Medic,
I may be on Pelican Saturday morning, if you see my Fish Hawk stop by. After that the boat is getting its first break of the season, it will be back on the trailer until Tuesday. I really don't like fishing this weekend, too many people, too many jetskis!

Steve & Sue, good luck on the Goon!
