| Does the clothing impregnated with natural insect repellant really work? Is it worth buying. Or just stick with traditional insect repellants? | |

Why not go and buy some 3M brand "permithrin". It works really good. Take your clothes you want to treat outside and spray them down. Then let them dry. Works pretty good for me and a lot cheaper than the "bug-off" shirts that I have seen at REI. Just reapply permithrin after you've washed the clothes. | |

| I asked this question on another site about a month ago,,,'buzz off mosquito shirts",,their supposed to last 25 washings before the replelent wears off,,however that dosent mean you have to throw away the shirt its still a nice one to wear,,pays to shop around Ive seen them listed for $49 and $89,,Orvis fly fishing shop wil do mail,,order,,,I would use itl ike raingear, not wear it all day but keep it in the boat and only wear it at dusk for an hour when the skeeds come out | |
