| Hey I had a hoot today working in Eagle River with all the PMTT gang in town. All day long at the shop (Guide's Choice) guys were coming in to buy lures get tips and generally hang out and talk musky fishing. Everyone was in good spirits and it looks like conditions are right for some quality fishing on the Eagle River Chain this weekend. Highlight of my day was Cady throwing a protoype bait in the aquarium at Guide's Choice. He had one tiger coming after it but ran out of room. He drew a crowd and there was a bit of joking about "unpainted" being the hot color this year. No hooks on the lure by the way for any PETA spies lurking about. It is not true that I gave 18 different teams the same gps coordinates for a 50" fish I saw on the chain.
Hope everyone has fun and catches a bunch of fish. Please remember to use caution out there since you will be sharing the water with a lot of non-tournament vacation folks who may not understand your....enthusiasm. Good luck and safe travels to all. | |

| That was great Pete! Unfortunately I can't even catch one when I know where they are....
I did get to tell everyone the rest of the day I had a decent Tiger chasing my lure....
