Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Hi guy's- Does anyone know where I can get the nav chip for Sabaskong Bay and Crow/Kagagi - Nestor Falls Area? Is there one? My fishing partner has a Lowrance X15MT in his boat and has never been to Canada so he doesn't have the map chip for this area. I live in Central WI- If you know a source where I can get one before Friday evening, I'd really appreciate it.
Whaooo! Bring on the "Blue" - fish on!
Have fun

| Gander Mountain should have the Hotspots Classic. Get the MN chip. It will have LOTW on it.
Also, make sure he has at least version 2.5 of the Lowrance firmware on hi X15, or it won't read the chip.

| HotSpots chip only has US side of LOW, so it's no use to you. If you're going through Duluth, stop at Marine General and get the West Great Lakes chip from Navionics, This is the one I've used the last couple of years, and it shows the contours, bouys, marinas etc for LOW, RR, Rainy Lake besides the Great Lakes, both US and Canada sides. Kinda pricey about $200.00, but much cheaper than a new lower unit or worse. Give them a call to see if they have a compatible chip for your unit.
Also, remember that with the lake as high as it is (3 ft over the map last weekend), those emerged boulders are now submerged and out of sight! Good Luck.

Location: St. Louis, MO., Marco Is., FL, Nestor Falls, ON | Al: A friend just picked up the Canadian Topo map for Ontario and it includes Crow Lake. She is going to let me download it to my computer. I have the Lowrance X15MT on my boat. I'll try to get that done before you arrive. I am using the Hotspots chip for LOTW and find it adequate. I believe the Map Create 6.3 Canadian Topo map also includes LOTW. Don't know about the detail on that chip though.
