| Does anyone know where I can buy a Blacklight to put in the bottom of my boat while night fishing? I need one that takes batteries. At Walmart I found blacklights but they were plug in/outlet type. Any ideas? |

Location: Antioch, IL | I know blacklight gives a much quicker and bright charge to any kind of glow in the dark paint (blades, beads, jigheads...) due to the massive amount of ultraviolet light. It also makes mono lines easy to see at night. Other than that I'm not sure of any other benefits (unless you've been smoking doobies all day,....then it's just kinda like cool and stuff) |

Location: Carney, Mi (in da UP eh!) | If your looking for 12 volt power for the blacklight and want an additional source, besides your boat batteries, bring your portable jump start pack, most of them come with a 12v cigarette plug in on them. |

Seriously- You could clip the plug cord and hardwire the ones from wally world automotive department to a console light switch.

I would have to disagree, they use black-lights in bug zappers to attract them. |

Location: syracuse indiana | they do bring about every bug around the lake into and on the boat. believe me i have 3 of the black lights and do not use them unless i totaly have too. couse it only takes about 3 seconds for those pesky bugs to show up...bill |
