| On Sunday I fished the WMT on Lake Minocqua. While there has been alot of talk of a big hybrid out of Tomahawk I never expected to see one like that in person. At 8:30 my partner and I landed a 41" and when we brought it in for registration a team was releasing a 49.5" hybrid from Minocqua with a girth from what I could see between 22"-24". I'm sure photos will be available soon but she was pretty!!!!! Our guide service started a 50" pool two years ago for the tour and this is the closest anyones been for the WMT. They were a half inch short of over $17,700 but I'm sure they were not overly concerned about that. Nice fish guys! A 47.25", 47" and 45.5" were registered ahead of us. That's alot of big fish for a 65 boat one day tournament. | |
