Location: Roseau | Any good reports for the opener?
We moved a ton of fish on saturday, boated one mid thirties and had 5 others up to the boat and lost them, all in the upper thirties, raised around 15 fish.
Sunday found the fish to be sluggish but found larger fish most in the mid 40's and one of the biggest ive seen yet, lower 50's and nice girth, she followed in on a top raider from over deep water just outside a weedy bay.
All in all a great weekend.

Location: Chippewa Falls, WI | Heading up to the BIG POND this weekend, for 5 days, with the Pro-staffers of WFO Outdoors to shoot a video
Nice fish, for the opener,
What are the water temps?
Is the water High this yr?
What did you move/catch fish on, buck tails, top water, twitch baits etc...?
We have has lots great luck on 6" reef haws and undertakers, Spinner baits, this time of yr,
but I think the top water bite should be better than last yr, if we have warm water temps.
Let me Know I would appreciate it.
Thanks

Location: Roseau | The water is high and the water temps we found were in the low 70's saturday afternoon. Only moved fish in bays with water temps of 69 and higher. Moved one fish on the top water and she was big, the rest were on bucks and spinners and the invader. |

Location: Roseau | Fished monday afternoon, till dark. Moved a few fish from the slop and had a few blow ups with topwater. They were down after the big storm thursday and another one on sunday. Lots of trees down on the islands, heard it was a strong storm thursday. Best luck we had was believers in the slop.
Water temps seemed to be down a bit from opener. |
