Where are you headed to fish muskies this weekend? I'm in the Dakota's covering the FLW Walleye in Devils Lake until mid day Sunday, so Sue and I won't hit the water until Sunday evening. This place is unbelievable, lots of very large pike and tons of big 'eyes!

I'm leaving tomorrow for a week on Lower Buckhorn Lake in Ontario's Kawartha region. Last year my Dad, my brother and myself boated 30 muskies during our 1 week vacation on Lower Buckhorn Lake. We've been making this trip now for nearly 25 years and averaging about 20 muskies CPR'd per trip. I've yet to boat that 50"er, but this might be the year. I'll be sure to post a report when we get back.

My girlfriend & I will begin our 1st week-long muskie safari of '05 this weekend. We will be staying on the Chip. Will be with Dave D. on Monday.
We can't wait, having high expectations, etc, in spite of the fact that we hear the nickname: "dead sea" used to describe it !
We still enjoy the natural beauty & musky history of that area.

Smokey's Muskie Shops Fathers Day sale is where I will be. Friday and Saturday.

Between the hours I have to put in there I will be out on Pewaukee Lake.

Looking for a 50-incher for my self or my kids.

Southeastern Wisconsin has kicked out three 50 plus inch fish so far. Who will get the next.

My client Tuesday got his first 50-incher.

She went 50 1/2-inches and was released to get bigger. Thats my 3rd 50 plus in less than one year on Pewaukee Lake, two for my clients trolling and one for me.

Good luck to all this weekend.

Snaggletooth, Please let me know how you do. Lori and I are headed up there a week from tonight for four days. Hitting a lake about an hour from here with my son, "Double J", on Saturday for a couple of hours. Last time he was out was on the southern opener.

I'm going to try to make it to Smokey's on Saturday. Maybe even try to jump in the boat with the Extreme One for a bit. Other than that, my boat is sick, so I'll be home watching my new lawn grow!
