Qualifier #3: Mercury Marine's Summer Challenge
June 25th & 26th, 2005 - Eagle River, Wisconsin
Limited spots remain for the Mercury Marine Summer Challenge at Eagle River, Wisconsin. This could be your chance to compete and qualify for the 2005 PMTT Championship! Tournament director Tim Widlacki says "With only 32 teams qualified so far for the free entry championship it is wide open for anyone to come along, qualify, and take home the brand new Ranger 619, Mercury motor and trailer package by winning the World Championship" To qualify for the free entry World Championship you must boat a legal muskie, fish TWO events and be in the top 50 teams at the end of the year. Eagle River is located in Wisconsin's famous Northwoods area. This is prime vacation territory. In fact, Eagle River is at the center of the world's largest concentration of freshwater inland lakes. We are located in Vilas County, which has 1,318 lakes within its boundaries. The Eagle River Chain of 28 lakes is the world's largest chain of connected lakes.

The PMTT tournament will be held on what is known as the LOWER CHAIN. The Lower Chain consists of the following ten (10) lakes: Cranberry, Catfish, Voyageur, Eagle, Scattering Rice, Otter, Lynx, Duck, Yellow Birch and Watersmeet. The Lower Chain has nearly 70 miles of shoreline. The channels connecting the lakes are posted as "No Wake" zones. These "No Wake" zones are strictly enforced and violators will be fined.

WATERS OPEN/OFF LIMIT DURING THE TOURNAMENT: Watersmeet, Yellow Birch, Duck, Lynx, Otter, Eagle, Voyageur, Scattering Rice, Catfish and Cranberry Lakes and the water ways that connect these lakes. Rivers entering and exiting Watersmeet Lake, except the river connecting Watersmeet to Yellow Birch are off limits. All other creeks and rivers are off limits at the point where they enter or exit the open tourney waters.
