| Who runs Pursuit? who has a Pursuit Trolling system installed on thier boat? what do you like about it? what do you wish you could change about it?

Handrails...with handrail mount Down Easterns. i had a few handrail mounts on my last boat. like them fine. do ya'll like to install metal handrails then put down easterns on them? i am not for sure..but i think i do not want to mount down east right to the gunnel..the hand rail deal seems like a smarter idea... what do you like about rail mounts and what do you wish you could change about them?
a few things..NO i dont trolling for other fish besides muskies...no,i really really really doubt if i ever run down riggers. i only trolling a once or twice a year..but when they are going on the trolling bite..I WANT TO BE READY!
thanks guys

| I mounted hand rails on my run-about for the sole purpose of using the downeast rail-mount salty series rod holders. I like them bunches but have to remind myself to lift straight up when removing the rods and keep them lubricated. I have had a couple of fish on in the past where I have had trouble getting the rod out of hte holder. The torque on the rod holder made it difficult to lift my rod free plus I was not lifting straight up. I adjusted the mounts so I could easily lift them out and keep a good quality spray lubricant on hand - no problems since. I like the hand-rails because it is a cleaner install without having to cut larger holes in my boat. I now run 4 total giving me a good spread.

Location: Eastern Ontario | I've been running the Pursuit system for 6 years on my last 2 boats and will be running it in my next boat. I can't imagine a better system, the tracks with custom blocks to receive the S-10'. |

Location: syracuse indiana | hey tom i have the tite - lok on my crestliner verry simular to the pursuits. i love them. alot nicer to be able to take the down easts off and pop the step plate in and looks great on the boat. they are made right here in topeka , ind just north of us. the website is www.titelok.com and they are a little less in the price too. the only difference i think is the pursuits have ribbs in them and tite lok's dont but they both have a secondary lock down for safety one has the bar and the other uses a lock allen screw....bill |

| Tom, I have fished in boats with the pursuit tracks, It's a great system. Salmon at St. Joe, Muskie at St. Clair. Just slide in the tools needed for that day. If you trade boats all your out is the tracks. I'm currently looking for a used boat and would much rather buy one with a track system than one that has rod holders downriggers etc. mounted to the gunnel or hand rails. The track system spreads out the torque produced by big baits and big fish. Ben |

| Check out vectortek.com,big water rod holders. Very well built and they come in colors, all cnc machiened aluminium with spring lock technology. Completly adjustable- up down and side to side in one second, no tools required nothing to tighten or loosen. These things are bullet proof, my rod holders are the nicest thing on my boat! |
