scooter

are we talking numbers or size?

I have a 1750 fishhawk

should I be aware of any unforeseeable problems?

Thanks a million

you'll be very hard-pressed to get that 1750 in or out on the landing on Lk 26.

Yellow is your closest option. Bone Lake isn't too far away to your south. It's probably closer than the lakes that Scooter mentioned, with the exception of possibly 26. But I'm guessing it's probably about the same distance to both, depending on exactly where you're at. There's a relatively new musky fishery in SW Burnett County. I'm not going to name the lake on the board in case it's a secret lake to some. But if you do a little research on lakes in the Granstburg area, you should be able to figure out which one it is. I've never fished it myself, but I do know it's been producing fish. I have no idea on size, however.

Like Lambeau mentioned, the access at 26 isn't very good. There's actually a nice hole at the ramp that would be deep enough if you could only back up that far...it's beyond the end of the dock. Can't figure that one out! We actually brought a bunch of boards with us to put under the tires so we could reach it without sinking into the sand. It was a bit of a pain, but we got the boat in the water without killing ourselves.

I will be running a paper route it looks like, lake to lake to lake!

I found 2 realitivly new muskie lakes, they should be in the 35-40 inch class by now, I hope?

The newer musky water that I was referring...I heard of a few fish in the lower 40"s two years ago.
