Thinking about heading to Monona for the first time this weekend I'm looking for any
pointers as in where to fish and what lures work big lures or small lures, natural colors or bright colors. and is the water fairly clear or stained? Also is trolling allowed? thanks for the help!!!!

Location: The Yahara Chain		The water is very clear . Trolling is allowed. The fish will be shallow in the emerging weed beds. Bucktails , jerks, twitch baits, plastics and surface baits are all effective. It is a tough bite with the water being as clear as it is. Lots of followers this time of year in Monona.
