There are about two dozen guides for this area, woundering what your thoughts were on who's good.

I would recommend Joel Tinker, Top Tackle Guide Service
His website is www. toptackle.com
Knows the area very well and you will learn alot from him.
Truly a class act.

Many good guides in that area. Some to consider...

Dave Dorazio
Tanner Wilds
Ty Sennet
Bruce Shumway
Larry Ramsell
Wayne Gutsch
Rich Reinert

All depends on what water you want to fish, and what you wish to gain from the trip. Knowledge learned, experience, chance at numbers of fish or larger fish..?

Dave Dorazio gets my vote hands down. There are several other fantastic guides in that area, but Dave's corny wit will keep you entertained during even the slowest of days!

Oh yeah, he catches a lot of nice fish too.

Both Shumways, Tanner Wildes, Dorazio.....

I would try to pick your guide by the lake you are going to fish. That is the main thing to try. Lakes change from year to year so try to get a guide that is on the lake that you preffer the most.

Steve Genson from Genson's Fish Hunt's would be my first choice. He works at Pastika's and is a great guy to pull some info from.

i gotta go with a few of the young guns on the chip: corey meyer, ty sennett, and tanner wildes. they fish their asses off for you, as far as hard work and loooong hours go.

I fished Namakagon with Rog Williamson of Cat's Tails Lures last year. Great guy with a well equipped boat and a good knowledge of the lake.

ty sennett really knows the chip. we went up there for the first time and for 3 straight days we didnt
even see a fish. we got him for a half a day and it turned our trip around. we boated 3 fish (blew 2 more)
and had dozens of follows and strikes.

We've vacationed on the Chip 5 years and fished with Sennett and Dorazio many times. Both are outstanding. Both know the Chip very well and Dave can take you to some area action lakes. I feel Ty always has the Chip dialed in. You can't go wrong with either guy and will learn a lot too.

I've talked to Dorazio and seems like a good guy, I'd give him a shout!
