| The Wisconsin Muskie Tour (WMT) visited Lake Waubesa in McFarland on Sunday, May 15th for the second qualifying tournament in the southern region. The tournament anglers knew if the weather conditions improved from the previous day, they would have a good opportunity to put a muskie or two "on the board" during the tournament. Their optimism about the fishing conditions for the event materialized
with the muskies responding positively and thirteen muskies would be registered
for the day.
1st place: Abe Lang and Kevin Mahlberg - both of Oconomowoc
2nd place: Alan Arndt, Tomahawk and Scott Lewandowski, Athens
3rd place: Pete Hilman and Phil Schweik, both of Mosinee
4th place: Eric Omit, Stoughton and Troy Hinchley, Cambridge
5th place: Tim Cerny and Jerry Wilson, both of Janesville
