Any word on what they are hitting on down there? I'll bethere this weekend and am looking for some tips. Any help would be great.

Jim,

Check out www.shelbyvillemuskie.com and read the forums. I wish I could tell you what's going on (firsthand) but haven't been there in a while. Water temps took a huge hit with the last coldfront that blew through (~68-58 over two/three days). Post a report if you can when you get back.

Saw a lot of fish up in the shallows, and ended up getting one Muskie trolling just before heading in on Sunday.

Jim, sounds like you did better than our club members on Sundays outing. Club members had one hit and lost Sunday. 4 boats one fish. Tough bite...

Not that I have been doing this for a real long time, but I always try to see what lures people are using and they always end up with a blackbucktail, a mepps or a Rapala on their rods. I caught mine on a jointed Rapala. See our dads did know something.
