Subject: 1984 Mercury 115 outboard


Any one have any experience with these motors. I understand they were the same between 1984 to 1987. Are they good motors? How are they on Gas?

Location: Hayward, WI		Stay away, the old inline 6's are very hard to keep in good tune. They need constant adjusting to keep good idle. They also are known for a leaking a crankcase seal and is very expensive to get repaired.
