| The same bait that works/catches fish every opener! Reefhawg! They were all males though, but fun anyways! Came up with an unfavorite bait, Charlie rubber the line tie pulled out on a mere 40" fish. I am done with them and will serioisly look at the new Bucher rubber as they are made by the same company. And ya that fish still has the bait, sucks I know! Just hope it got thrown! |

Location: Minneapolis, MN | I gave the Baby Jerko another chance this weekend. My opinion really changed when I started working it harder and faster. Great little bait when the fishing is slow. |

Location: Lino Lakes, MN | My newest bait is a 10" HR Hughey. Tossed her a bit to see what she would do and I was really impressed. That thing sure has some moves. Cannot wait to stick a fatty on it....its just a matter of time.

Location: Athens, Ohio | MuskieTreats v.3.0 - brown. Action is better than my new and improved Bubba 1.0 version. Had a nice fish blow up on it yesterday, dunno how he missed it (stupid fish!). Can't wait to see the finished Magnums. I'm a bit upset, too, first fish I ever missed on a bucktail. I was using a single treble Mepps and the fish grabbed the hair behind the treble, towed the bait around for a minute and let go. I've heard of people giving their bucktails a haircut (I hate that word!), I might consider it if it happens again. m |

Location: Presque Isle Wisconsin | The PSYCHO NITRO by H2o Tackle is one I cant wait to toss in 2005.A dive and rise jerkbait with a deadly looking body roll, excellent injured fish profile ,and superb craftmanship. Roger's baits are very well thought out and represent some of the best from the newer breed of lure makers. Check out his whole line. |

You like the Rip & Glide?
That is a classic.... Where did you get the prototype?

| Yes, the hellhound is stupendous. As a matter of fact my VERY FIRST toss resulted in a bone jarring strike!!! I missed the fish unfortunately but wow, what a confidence builder! Just received some Molly baits from mike bradrock--they look great too--can't wait to try them. The order came in late for me due to a change in their online ordering schema and mike threw in two free baits as an apology!! Def. a class act! The Warlock is getting alot of attention from the spring skis as well and works fabulously thus far. The belly dancer looks like a great bait for LOTW this summer and works well in the water. The new plastic magic maker runs very well as does chaes version of the older wood magic maker, now called the Tippy Darter. I could go on and on.......So many fun new muskie toys to play with this year!!!

Location: Racine, Wi | Favorite new bait, (not so new though) is the JMac. I have given it some good water time, and have raised a lot of fish on it so far, and missed one on it. This bait is going to get lots of water, and the confidence is building. |
