Location: Iowa | Hey Fellas,
I am a freak about large baits...it has gone from having one or two to a rather large collection that just hangs in my closet at home...I was curious if anyone knew of someone who custom makes large boxes fro these large baits. I have one that is like 16" long...a smitty hawg getter that I modified...I have contacted www.bibsbox.com about this but he didn't exactly have what I was looking for...I have thought of just using a 5 gallon paint bucket the transport them for the time being...who knows though...I have included a picture of the baits...they including legends, hooker, jakes, reef hawg, and various other larger baits...12"+...

| Homey,
I picked up a Bibs this Winter and it's "the cats a$$".Holds BIG baits tangle free.Look at the ad from Esox Angler this Winter. That's Paul Hartman's box in the pic.Basins etc. No problem. At this point, best I've seen in a semi-compact package.Guys out East make some killer boxes too I'm sure and would love to see some.Tackle storage and organization is one of those "things". | I made one in two days, would have been done in one if the wife wasn't yellin, if you want me to send you instructions let me know.. 28x16 and 17" high but you could make it any dimensions.. Its nice because it adds to my casting deck.. Added a sandpaper like white paint to the top for none slip.. I use 4" pvc inside so I can put multiple baits in each slot and it doesn't matter how wide the baits are,, creepers fit perfect.. Manta's require a deeper notch cut in the pipe.. Let me know.. you would need table saws etc..

What are the dimensions of that box and how much didi it cost you...that is more of the type of thing that I am looking for...I didn't know he made them like that...I thought that the only ones he made were the ones on his site...I guess I should have read the add a little better in Esox Angler huh...

Location: Eastern Ontario | Do a search for B&B Baitboxes, they make a box with the shell of a Lakewood and their custom clear inserts. It has 20 slots 3 x 3 and is 16+ inches deap. It is also selling for about the same price of a Lakewood. |
