Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | Once again this year we will have the Rhinelander Tuesday Night fishing league. As of right now we have more sponsors than teams. Everyone is welcome. They are four man teams, and we can match you up with others looking for teammates.
This league is an absolute blast. It is a great excuse to get out on the water every Tuesday night on one of the many Rhinelander area musky waters. It is a mostly for fun league where very little money exchanges hands. The high point of every night is the $50 dollar attendance drawing that you are eligible for just for showing up.
If you live and or fish in this area I would highly suggest this league. Teams will be finalized at our next meeting on May 24th. Post here or email me if you are interested! |

Location: Clintonville, WI | Anyone living/working within a county or two of Rhinelander should REEAAALLLLY consider joining the league.
I live an hour away, joined the league last year and the drive was no problem for me. I will soon live just over 90 minutes away and will continue to make the drive. No one says you have to be as stupid as me to make that long a drive, but a bit closer would be worth it for most.
The league is a blast and I look forward to every minute on the road. The water fished is good, the group is pretty dang cool (just stay away from Nwild/Oneidaesox/Usack/MagnumMusky/MRoberts LOL ), and I can no longer complain about needing to spend more time on the water.
I sucked last year, but I am soooo due.....if we can just keep Cat Tails out of a certain league members hands, Holiday Acres' team will have a chance. Lee and Cal, I take an XL jacket |

I am back in it this year. Fishing with Jonesi's team. So, that means that I will not be able to take you on the tour of Boom and take the fish out of Mike and Johns spot. The river/reeds are looking mighty fine when the time comes!!!
Unfortunately I will not be able to make the 24th meeting as I am speaking at the God's Country Chapter of Muskies Inc in LaCrosse that night. Also, the first night of league I am at our national sales meeting so I will need a sub. Fish Pelican the first night if you would.
My vote for lakes:
1) Boom
2) Sugar Camp Chain
3) Three Lakes Chain
4) George/Thompson/Julia
5) Moens Chain
6) Crescent/Manson/Hancock
7) Pelican
Give me a call Norm,
Chuck

Cost personally is $50 for the entire season. There is also a sponsor fee, but your sponsor will cover that, and like I said, we have sponsors available right now. The entry fee is paid out weekly for fish prizes, 1st-3rd (50,25,15?), and a $50 attendance drawing for everyone that fishes that night. It also covers the year end banquet.
The Rhinelander Musky league fishes the same lake groups as the Hodag Challenge. Each week we fish one of the five lake groups from 5-9 p.m. They are as follows;
Pelican
Boom
Moens Chain
Thompson, George, Julia
Oneida, Hancock, Crescent, Manson (our league added Manson)
The week of July 4th is an optional night, not for standings, and we have been fishing Lake Tom that night. We will vote on that again at our meeting May 24th.
The league is set up to be fun. It is competition but the biggest thing on the line is pride. It is a great excuse to get some time on the water every week and doesn't cost a ton of money. I recommend it to anyone in driving distance. |

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | The meeting is at Spencer's Den. I can drive there but can't give directions worth a hoot. I believe it is off of W? but not sure. Meeting is at 7:00, we will go over any possible rule changes and work out the schedule. Then it's time to talk muskies!! |

Location: Sheboygan Falls, WI | Coming from the east or west here it is. Take Hwy 8 to the new Hwy 17 by-pass. Turn north (left if coming from the west and right if coming from the east) and continue straight until you get to the set of lights after the YMCA and the Budweiser Dist. Turn left off of 17 onto Stevens St. Continue straight until the next set of lights by the BP gas station. Turn right onto W and go straight until you see the sign for the Hodag Country Fest and the fair grounds; I believe that this is River Road. Turn left; there will be a small marine place on your right when you turn. Continue on River Road until you get to Spencers Den and it will be on your right hand side.
Directions via snowmobile trail is easier, LOL.
Kat, always could use subs. I will be needing a sub for at least 2 weeks this year.
Dannyboy, from talking to Norm, sounds as if there are still plenty of sponsors available.

| Dannyboy...
Where you opening this year? Gonna be back on Mellen Lakes? I missed you last season out there. Saw your truck and trailer but I think you left not too long after my wife and I (and the dog of course) arrived.
did well on vibrax spinners last year (#5 single hook) and the like.
Maybe see you there this year? I'll be in a new rig.

| hey VMS we commented pn not seeing you last year.
we fished the bigger of the lakes i saw you on and caught 2 within first 5 minutes. then i caught a tiny.
we then went to smallest of the lakes and i hit another sub 30.
then went to the other one and pretty much stayed there all weekend.
with 2 boats we ended up with 21 muskie and figure we missed another 28.
aweful weather but great fishing. and a great time had by all.
we'll be there bright and early on the 28th.but some in our group are thinking of trying namakagon from daybreak to noon.then heading back toward mellen.
i got a new rig too. 2005 fisher 170 sport with 115 mercury.
whats your rig?
feel free to email me anytime and maybe we can hookup.

| Upgraded to the Alumacraft Navigator 165...the newer wider version with a 90 yamaha. Black and silver.
You'll know I'm there if you see a big green Dodge Ram with a topper and a Black shoreland'r trailer.
You will probably beat me there, though. Seems as though I cannot get the wife up early at all for a saturday. So I am guessing we will hit the water about 10 or so.
Couple of years ago I tried Namekagon, but it was yet another one of those colder years, so nothing was moving. Ended up going over to our lake in common and managed a couple of small ones.
I have to say, though...fish catches in the 20s for a weekend is great!! Heck..no wonder I didn't catch so many that first day last year.
Dawn managed to get a little bored and started to figure-8 right next to the boat just to goof off...and had a hit right there. It wasn't a follow either...came from under the boat.
I'll probably shoot you an email before heading up.

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | Meeting is at 7:00 Tuesday night at Spencer's Den. I have told everyone that is looking for team members to be there, we can get it sorted out at the meeting. If necessary we can probably shake out two more if we end up with an odd number. |
