Location: Athens, Ohio | OK, I couldn't wait, either. I didn't get this view of the fish, so I was curious too. Glad he got the lucky boat decal in the pic, gotta thank Tom M. from the Cleveland Chapter for preserving the moment for me. Sorry, MI, that's as close to a horizontal hold as me bum wrist would allow. m

Just kidding, and good luck the rest of the season. I hope you top it.

Had to give you some crap on the prior post, but that is a fine looking "fish".
We're not looking at your hair anyway, but you gotta get in to a real fishin type hat.
I hope you get to repeat that facial expression many times this year.

Location: Athens, Ohio | OK, first of all, thanks again for the encouragement (more than I get at home sometimes). Anyway, Bob, thanks for pointing out the fin hole. These photos are really the best view I've gotten of this fish. She stayed down for most of the fight, and after she was in the net I was so intent on working on her jaw that I never realized how long she was until it was photo time. That's not a defect in the photo, though, it shows up on both shots. hmmm.
Yep, I do have good hair days, and a hat, but me head started swellin up so big the Frabill hat wouldn't stay on. Funny how that works. thanks, guys. m |
