| Ya, I know! Me too! The smallies and the crappies that were in are now gone with the wind and snow! And walleyes, what are those, except for the ones under 15"! Just seen some more paired up ski`s,thought that crap was over with. I have the funny feeling that the 7th southern Wisconsin Opener will not be as great as expected! Hope I am wrong! |

Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | Fishing was once again pretty good. Lost a few on suckers, one that was REALLY REALLY BIG.... O WELL! Got two fish and lost 4 on Saturday. Pistol Packin' Pete scored his biggest at 45 inches. (good job pete)
Sunday, raised some nice fish, and broke a quick strike rig.

Location: Blaine, MN 55449 | Docks are in! Skis are ready to rock in the northwoods! Walleyes are starting to come in as well. Many of the flowages in and around the Minong area are starting to see nice crappies!!! Where the little fish roam, the big ones are not far behind! |

| Fished a Vilas County lake with no results. Real cold water temp and snow/ice falling. The ranger said nothing had been going down all week except for the temps. |

| Skunked on the Fox Chain Saturday, but witnessed a 36" all beat up from spawning. Caught on a Viper first thing in the morning.
Great to be out though, and we tried everything! |

Hopefully it's alot nicer this upcoming weekend.

Location: oswego, il | I am beginning to think I could not even catch a cold. 8 days on the water and no fish. I have had plenty of follows, put hooks into them, 3 this weekend, just to have them come off and netted some for parners too. I think I have a white stripe painted on my black butt. |

| We fished the Fox River Valley Muskies Inc. Challunge on the Chain Fox Chain-IL. We placed 12th out of 80 teams, missed money but 1 1/2 inches. 16 fish we caught no team doubled up with the biggest being around 39". We had three other fish miss or overrun baits that would have probably won the tourny. Oh well that's fishing. Saw 7 fish all in 5 feet and weeds water temp 52.5 degrees.
Went out on the Chain on sunday and found a dead 37 1/2 incher floating belly up with a tag in Bluff. Called IDNR only to leave a message. |
