anyone had good luck with lures in pike pattern? i got a shallow running gapens crank in prism/foil pike pattern that looks and runs awesome. i would think on a bodies of water where 'snakes' are common, it could be a winner- whadya' think? thanks...

yes they work, we boated a 35.5 on a pike pattern salmo last week, and i have had numerous follows on the polish pike, but havnt got one to hit yet.

Friendly word of advice on the Gapen`s. Don`t bang-off to many rocks as those lips are on the brittle side! As far as the pike color goes, shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Pike patterns...yes.
Eliminate the competition.
If it swims, it's food.
I've caught pike on pike patterns.
Use 'em.

By all means the Pike pattern is productive. It is my number 2 best seller, #1 is the "Strawberry". These are in the regular size vamp range.
