Does anyone know of a good campground w/boat launch on the SouthWest corner of the lake?

prefer one with dock and electric, but would settle for pulling boat up on sandy beach.

Thanks,

Steve

SW corner you are speaking of Vineland or Cove..? I am not aware of a campground on the lake that offers by-the-day type camping. There are several trailer parks for seasonal sites. Suggest you get ahold of the tourism board or call one of the resorts.

Better idea...Call Eddies in Vineland, they have a hotel and dock services and will be able to point you in the right direction for camping.

Actually, I believe Fr Hennipen state park on the SE side of the lake has day to day camping and beautiful facilities.

The park name might be not Fr H, I am going from memory. Check out the Mn State parks website.

It's Father Hennepin State Park in Isle Minnesota.
Do not call or stay at Eddie's, please.

You could stay at Kathio State park, and just go launch at whichever launch you would like.
