| John:
I saw that Gander now has large bait casters that looks like they would be a decent musky reel. They are on sale this week, $10 off.
Question is, do you know who makes them and will they hold up?
I am not on the water everyday beating the piss out of them. Will they hold up to weekly fishing, perhaps as a back-up reel or for friends on spare rods?
Thanks - Midge |

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | Midge..they're a Pflueger Trion. I bought 2 last year and have to give them the thumbs up so far. They're really nice reels for folks who get alot of backlashes. The spool doesn't spin all that fast for some reason. My casts aren't as long as with my C3s, C4's and Morrums. But the drag is ver nice.
The cool thing is they offer these reels in both a 5.2:1 and 6.2:1. |

| Sweet.
I am going to buy a couple and give them a whirl. For $59, a guy can't go wrong.
Thanks

| Why is the tent thread frozen?
Midge, you need to add when you are muskie fishing to that sentence.

| You got way too much time on your hands Slammer.
Does it help that I will be using the tent on musky/camping trips? |
