Ahhhhh- reading about all the fish being caught by the southern boy's is driving me up the wall!!

For the guys who are still waiting, i.e, because the season is closed where you live- arrrrrrrrrrrrrg, 13 days to go for me (WI opener May 7th).

What's your plan for lake, river, or just water type for those who don't want to disclose lake/river x -> and what's going to be the first lure to splash down? Then, what's going to be #2, and #3? Lastly what's your throw back(s) for follower's?

For me it's going to be the Wisconsin River and a 9" hot pink "Alien". #2 6" same color, #3 6" blue "Alien". If those don't work, I'm going through all three tackle boxes.

My throw back's will be a 7.5" bumble bee Zalt (floating) and a "emerald perch" Zam (suspending).

tick,tick,tick....................................

Have fun!

April 30th for me (inland lakes, no Lake St. Clair until June ).
I'll be casting my home made upside down perch glider, spinnerbaits, hair, Tony Accetta "Pet" spoon, 1oz copper "Red Eye" spoon, optim swimbait (with long flutter tail), traps, Salmo Slider, etc. I'll probably also do a little trolling when the "out of practice" arm gets a little tired. Jointed 6 inch wood body baits will get the call then. Won't load up the boards as this is mostly a casting day.

my perch glider sinks sooo slow it drives me crazy waiting for it to get down a couple of feet, it really hangs.

I'll be on Pewaukee as well, at least for the morning, then who knows.
Time to slime the new boat.

Looks like Pewaukee for me, too. I think. May end up in me own boat, at that.

Shep,

My friend and coworker Gene is looking for a boat partner. He hurt his back so he will not try to launch his boat. He is looking for someone he can net fish for.

Are you going to stay at my cottage with the rest of the boys?

Call me when you know. We need to get a head count to prepair the cottage and food.

Are you ready to RUMBLE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The River south of Stevens Point. Start by wetting a new homemade 5" glider, and on to a 14 Husky for plan B.

The agonizing wait! 8 days, 6 hours, and 21 minutes too long!

I will out on Pewaukee for the morning, and then probably off to Okauchee later on in the day depending on how the fishing is. I will be throwing a 6" Firetiger Lip Ripper and probably a couple of Undertakers. All of this while ducking out of the way of projectile Busch Lights being thrown out of tuffdaddys new sled. Next Saturday cannot come fast enough.
