Location: Madison Wi. Chain | I purchased some seven strand wire last weekend. I am not sure how to tie the leaders. Can anyone give me advice about the best knots etc. Thanks BG P.S. 30 days until opening day! | |

Location: Eau Claire,WI | I tried to tie 7 strand.Tried being the key word.I didn't like the way the knot looked after several attempts,I also didn't trust the various knots.I went back to crimping a sleeve.If you don't trust one sleeve,put on two,I do for my trolling leaders...I have used crimped 7 strand leaders for many years and have yet to have a crimped sleeved leader fail. | |

| If you look up a pitzen knot, sorry don't have a pic, this knot works pretty well. It takes a little messing with to get it down but has worked well for me. | |
