Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Well, it dawned cold and wet here, with temps in the thirties. It made 41 degrees here, what a heat wave! I had lunch with Crash, Chris Baldridge from Baldridge Marine and Crash's Guide service, and David_4 today, then visited the hatchery and Fisheries department management today, before delivering Chris's new boat this afternoon. We didn't miss much, I guess! Punch and Judy moved one fish, Mike's Extreme moved three, and there were a couple more sightings. Artie and compant and another group of four just pulled in tonight. One boat out there reported a 38 trolling. We have what looks like another bleak day tomorrow, it seems, BUT I am on the water, for better or worse, holding down the back of Dave's sharp Sprint Bass Boat.
We have folks from 5 states and Canada attending.
More tomorrow!! MuskieFIRST THANKS Crash's Landing for sponsoring dinner tomorrow. Crash and Justin, you are top shelf!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Only two fish were caught today, a 30 and a 39.5. We saw one, and that was the average. The Cave was tough today, but we all had a great time!
Crash's Landing provided dinner. Thanks Crash and Justin!!
I'll get a full report up tomorrow when I get back home.

Location: Huber Heights, Ohio | Steve said he would be holding down the back of my boat, but I gave him the front all day long. Even though I arrived wednesday morning I only fished friday, but still had a great time and would like to thank Steve for that. The day I spent with him fishing was one of the best on the water days I have had in a long time. It just goes to show that you don't have to catch fish to have a great time at a MuskieFIRST outing, I think the people make the outing not the fish. Don't get me wrong, catching fish would have nice, but it doesn't always happen. I'll be there next year again.

I had a great time on the water yesterday, too. What a great boat!! Great conservation, and a sandwich and Diet Coke, too, can't get better unless a fish is caught.
Thanks again to Crash's Landing for the meal last night. Kentucky hospitality is second to none.

Location: Southwest PA | We had a good time despite having my fuel tank stolen Friday night, I guess it could have been alot worse had they got in my vehicle. Did anyone else have problems Friday night? I know there were a bunch of boats sitting out back Saturday morning when I looked out the window from the room.
It was definitly a good time getting together with everyone for a few days and meeting a few new people as well as talking to some of you that I havent seen since last year at the Cave.
A big thanks to Crash's Landing for the meal on Friday night. They are a great group of people!
This is one outing that if you ever thought about going to, do it!! Steve has a couple of ideas to make it even better next year.

| Left this morning from the Cave and just got back. Great time, though no fish. At least for me. Mike got a monster but he'd kill me if I posted the pic! It was a shortie but it was more than I got! Thanks for the pizza & handouts Steve. Did catch some good sunsets which I'll try and post. Thanks to Crash as well for dinner last night. Good times, good people. Mike, blast fishing with you. We gave em hell! Definitely going back next year & it should be a little warmer! Thanks!
