Looking for some info. Wanting to add some neutrally and/or slow rising baits to my arsenal. I know the DDD are that way, but I'm wondering about others such as Big Game, Cranes, etc. I'm wanting to use them more as twitch baits, which is one of my favorite ways to work a lure.

Shallow Invader is close to neutrally bouyant. It has a very slow rise, and with a little wait can hang with the best of them.

Jointed Shallow Raider, Molly Bait, and Bagley's DB09's have pretty good hang time. Grandma's in the 9" have a much slower raise rate in comparison to the Jakes. Not perfectly neutral, but can attain it with switching out hooks and correct leader combinations.

Some of the jointed 7.5" Grannies are almost perfect as far as hang time go.

For a 7” +/- neutral twitch bait with lots of flash you can hardly beat Bucher’s Straight Shallow Raider. For a little more erratic glide type action the DD is great. For bigger baits the Molly and Grannies are good if you don’t want to weight a 10” Jake.

One of the sweetest ones I found is the 10" Ace minnowbait! Nothing even comes close!
