| I like them because they present a bigger profile.
Bigger profile, easier to see.
It might be fad, but I won't quit fishing them or quit making them.
I love the action of some of them, and will comtinue to use them until
I don't fish anymore.

| Jim Wilson and Bill Looney are have been doing drop belly style gliders for years long before they were as popular as they are today. I like some of the newer stuff but in my opinion nothing compares to the craftsmanship of hand made bait. My favs are amma bama's followed closely by hr's and a newer custom lure that I like alot are smuttly dogs they are also a must have. In my opinion lure manufactures make what the fisherman want sometimes more than what they really need I feel they go to the extreme on colors and style when it is just not needed to catch fish BUT IT CATCHES THE FISHERMAN!!!! |

| I have been using the Slammer Drop Belly Glider for 4 years. It has been a consistant multi-species producer. Drop belly gliders will continue to be fishermen favorites because of their ease to use as well as their productivity. |

All the colors available are more for the fishermen, than for the fish, but that isn't all that bad. If a fisherman likes a color for what ever reason that he or she may have, they tend to pay more attention to the bait, use it more often, and for longer periods of time which helps to make it more productive as well. |

Location: Illinois | You guys putting a split ring on the Slammer Drop Bellies? I usually don't split my gliders but this seems like a good candidate. Thanks, hj |

| I use straight wire leaders with no snaps. Therefore, I split ring almost everything.

Location: mpls | The first dropbelly glider was made by Earl Gretsch out of Florida in the 1930's. His baits could easily compete with todays dropbellies. Look in some vintage fishing tackle books, you'll be amazed. |

| Todd,
I agree with you comment on too much food.. This fast food craze is terrible. Look at our old.. Look at our youth.. It was only a matter of time before THEY got to our baits... Poor things.
