A group of us are looking at staying at Sportmens Lodge in September and I'm curious to know if anyone has stayed there and if so, what you thought of the accommodations, location, amenities, etc.

Thanks,

Eric

Great people, Great location except...beware of the railroad track that runs right through the back of the camp! Trains run every hour and always blow their horns when comin through, day and night!

The first time I ever went to Canada we stayed at that lodge...It was under different ownership at the time but from what I understand nothing really has changed except for the people. The cabins were extremely nice with ost of them having running water and full bathroom. The fishing in that area is good too...my buddy goes to Andy Meyers during the first week of October and has great things to say about it.

I stayed there two years ago.
I really liked it, I too was concerned about the trains! After fishing all day I don't think I ever heard that train once I hit the pillow!
Jim & Cindy did a nice job of making us feel at home without hovering over us all the time.
