Location: Washington, PA | I spend a lot of time fishing the rivers and lakes of WV. I must say, in all my travels, the WV DNR deserves some respect. By far they are the most willing DNR to listen and work with anglers that I have ever seen. PA could learn a lot from them.

Location: Williamstown, WV | I've seen these signs several places in WV. May I ask where you took this picture at? The WV DNR does try to do a very good job with our musky population here in the state. I think we are getting better all the time.

Location: Athens, Ohio | Kudos, also, to the DNR's willingness to work with our WV Chapter of Muskies, Inc. (and to the chpater for the wonderful working relationship they have developed with DNR!). A rep from the agency attends our annual dinner and gives an update, takes questions. One project was for MI members to keep a logbook of catches / releases; it was suggested at the meeting that the logbook template be available on the agency's website and the DNR rep said he'd have that done within a couple of weeks. The latest project is to help DNR establish protected areas of acquatic vegetation at certain targeted areas.
All in all, a fine management program in West Virginia (ps - there are no muskies in the state, however - go fish Kentucky!). m |

Location: Madtown, WI | WOW that is amazing! I actually found a sign very similar here in WI....see attachment!
Sorry this was too easy....I love this state, but the old mentality of some of its residence (and NOT necessarily the DNR)....

Location: Washington, PA | Well, as a self proclaimed technical expert, I have no idea. when I post, click on "browse", find file, open, then hit attach, and return to thread. Uh, you should probably ask someone else. |
