Hi folks!
Just wanted to let you all know about Mosquito Hill Nature Center's Annual Musky Magic Show, Happening March 20th, 11am-5pm. Featured Speakers are Tony Grant and Steve Herbeck, as well as a bunch of "basement bait" makers, with pool demos!
Here is a link to the show:
http://www.co.outagamie.wi.us/parks/Mosquito%20Hill/Musky%20Magic/M...
It's always been a great show. Proceeds of the admission go towards the Nature Center. I believe it is in it's 17th year.

I have to work so it looks like I won't be able to make it this year. Though I may send my scouts there to raid some baits.

It looks as if the Slammer Booth will be at the show this year. It is a nice little show which has pretty high level speakers each year. The poolside demo is a two edged sword for many of the "home grown" lure makers. It can show how great a bait works, or how bad it can look!

Booth is only $35, I will be there. The pool is a big plus and it gets a good crowd.

Hi!
I just wanted to say it was nice meeting some of you from the board at the show today! If I started naming names, I'd forget a bunch, so, you know who you are!

It's hard to say how many people were there, but there was a few more than in past years. The speakers were just o.k.

Nice show. Croud was medim sized I'd say but just right judging by the full bleachers and only a few people standing during the seminars as I peaked in. Some neat custom lures at the show!! Rogers new h20 colors were awesome, and i loved the two sided combo he did for me! Rubberhairy gliders had an awesome purple chartreause pattern that seemed to be quite popular too. I think it was musky nightmare that had the squirely jerk/glide bait and I really liked the action of it. Had the action of a good 6" Reef Hawg, but with a squirrely tail to boot. Never did see the booth he had, as it must have been too close to the food.

sorry, my baits do not have rubber tails on them. During the pool demos, I was over near the tubes (water slides?). I'm sorry you missed the action of my new crank, because they sold really well!

Oops!!! Wish I knew who the guy was testing out the squirrely something or other. It looked like it was Squirko in size(maybe a hair longer) and was shaped similar to an undertaker. The guy said he only had one left while he was testing them. Sorry about the mistake.

The guy with the Squirelly something must have been Doug Kloet from Musky Magic Tackle. The lure was called a Slippery Slider. Looked great in the pool didn't they, so I ordered two from him. Also based on the pool demo I grabbed one of Musky Safari's Mr. Automatic Gliders. I hope there lures look as good to the fish as they did to me in the pool.

Picked up some other stuff for my sons birthday. From Smitty a glider a Topper and Snodlo type, from Shumway a Marabou Flasher, two of KDC's fast blade bucktails, and two of Musky Safari's bucktails, and some of Dukes Snap leaders and tail pins.

And of course I always get something from Roger at H2O. This year it's the Recon. A little differant walk the dog action to fool all those conditioned fish on my home lake.
