I am in the process of reviewing new musky rods to replace the old ones. I am curious if anyone has any experience or opinions on the "Fig Rig" musky rods?

Thanks in advance

Agreed, Figs are excellent rods and have two price points that are very competitive with the rest of the industry. Wide range of choices too. You will be happy.

All I use are St.Croix Premiers, but my next rod will probably be a Fig Rig.

Great sticks, Toothtamers are awesome, but I have come to love their cheaper counterparts the "Extremes" that 8` is a do-all stick at lessthen a hundy!

I have Fig Rig rods Extreme Series and Toothtamer Series and both are great rods. The Extreme Series is superior rod for the price with out a doubt. I have lengths from 8-0" to 6'-10" and they all perform flawlessly. The thing I really like about Fig Rigs is that their customer service is second to none and Kevin makes improvements every year based off feedback from the field.

Thanks much for all the feedback on the fig rig rods. I also have St. Croix as well as some Fenwicks and Have been happy with them. Unfortunately they have taken a pretty good beating over the last couple of years with tournaments and such. I think I will try one Fig this summer and see how it works out.

Any one know if they will be at the upcoming Mke Sports show? I saw them at the Musky show and a guide from Sandy??? in canada mentioned to me that he loved the rods and usually wears out his rods in one year and his fig rigs have outlasted all others. Must be nice to have enough action in one season to totally wear out a quality rod.

Anyway thanks again for all the feedback.
