Scott,
My most sincere congrats you you and your wife. Kids are indeed a blessing - even though they cut into your fishing time early on...LOL
Hello baby, goodbye sleep. Just more waking moments to appreciate them...

Nice Job, Is it your 1st one? My daughter just left the house for college, but I can still remember that first fish, a 2 lb Bass. The smile is as big as the bass. These are the times that you enjoy the most from life.

Congrads,

Thanks for the kind words gentleman! She is our first. Mom is already telling her about the times she will be muskie fishing and hunting with dad.

Congratulatons!!!
She's a doll.
Take every chance you get to stare at her, and hold her close because it doesen't take long till they are their own independent little people.
There is definately somethnig special between Daddies and their little girls!

Comgrats on your new addition. Yes, they grow up quick. My kids are both teenagers and will go fishing at the drop of a hat. Great excuse to get out fishing or hunting anytime. Its for the kids honey, not me!!!!

As for the rest of you people waiting, get to work. Tuffy1, Reef Hawg, ect..........

Most "freshly hatched" pics honestly are not that good...takes a while for the kid to look OK....but this is a great pic!!

Congrats again!

Great catch, but even though it is habit, don't release her!
You have plenty of time to find a graphite rod of about 48" matched up with a Zebco 33 (all steel parts). It can be dipped in the lake and or river a million times, but can be cleaned up and work just fine. I started my kids out early. By four years old they could cast a rubber casting plug the length of the driveway (or to the top of the highest tree in sight!). Either way it is a great start.
Congratulations!

I want to keep practicing, but she feels it is time for game day. I really thought I would never be ready, or say that I enjoy threads like this. I guess that magic 30 number showed up and now I feel a bit of urgency. I'll have to pump some of you parents for some tips pretty soon..... I think my livewell will keep that formula at just the right temp..... md, those are the perfect dimensions of a really nice smallmouth...LOL

You only thought that you knew what love was until you first saw her.
Treasure every moment. Seems like only yesterday that I could fit my daughter in one hand, now she's playing in The State Hockey Tournament this weekend.
She still kisses me goodnight and tells me that she loves me, and that still means the world to me.
Congrats on your blessing.

my little girl is 22 and told me last night at supper " uh , i can't wait to go fishing again" but she won't go muskie fishing with me, she does have a friend in conn. that likes to fish and wants her and me to come out there when his dad gets remarried the same weekend as opening day. we are hoping maybe he's the one, never know

Jeez, you guys. One picture of a little girl and you get as mushy as a large mouth bass caught out of a muddy pond .
My little girl is three and says, "Daddy, when I catch a muskie, you have to take the hooks out 'cause I don't like the big teeth!"
