I fish many different places but we own a place on High Lake in Boulder Junction. So this is the place we fish the most. However, we hit the Madison Chain a lot, the "Chip", and occasionally Namekagon.
Our boat is a Ranger R72 with a 115hp Evinrude, Lowrance fish finders but looking to advance them, Minn Kota Autopilot trolling motor, and our 98' Jeep Grand Cherokee pulls it.

| Welp, I live in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin on Butternut Lake.
I have a saying for the species I fish for. "If it's got fins, it's in trouble!" But I primarily set the hook on Muskies and Bass, both Smallies and Largemouth.
Lakes I fish are endless, but Butternut, Flambeau River, Schnurrs, Pike/Round Chain and the infamous Yukabutski Lake.
My boat is an older 16' Smokercraft with a 40hp Merc. CAN ANYONE GUESS WHICH RODS I USE?!?!?
The boat is pulled with my 2000 Victory Red Blazer.

| I live in Huber Heights, Ohio which is about 1 mile from the intersection of I-70 and I-75. I was a diehard bassman until a friend took me to Cave Run to bass fish last march. There was just something about a 4 foot fish following your bait back to the boat. Yes, I did catch the Muskie bug. My boat is a 1999 Sprint 19' bassboat with a 200 Merc. I have only fished Cave Run and made about a dozen trips last year.

But I get there sooner or later and do my fair share. The way I look at it, its better then fishing from shore.I pull my rig with a beat up toyota t100 4x4 and it to is under powered ,but at least i don't get stuck. Remember,it doesnt matter how you get there or how long it takes ,just do it.[:sun:]

| My name is Steve Huber and while I sleep in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, I'm usually out on the hundreds of lakes in the Rhinelander, Tomahawk and Eagle River area. I'm also proud to say that I've known and been a friend of Steve Worrall for more years than I care to think of.
There are about 2 dozen lakes that I guide on, but some favorites are Boom Lake, Lake Mohawksin and the Wisconsin River.
If you see a blue and white ProCraft SuperPro 190 on the water, swing on over and say hi. The boat is equipped with a Merc 175 EFI, PinPoint trolling motor and locators. Tackle is either Shimano or Ambassaduer reels and custom rods (based on St. Croix blanks).
If you see a black 2001 Chevy Silverado extended cab 4x4 (with ProCraft Fishing Team on the back window) in the parking lot, make sure to look for me out on the lake.
I'll be at the show at the Rosemont Show (Jan. 16-20), the Madison Fishing Expo (Feb. 21-24) and the Milwaukee Sport Show (March 8-17). I'll be in the Lake-Link.com booth at Milwaukee and Madison, in Chauncey Niozel's booth at the Rosemont. If you're going to any of these shows, drop on in and say hi.

| Seems like i've done this about ten times in the past four years, but it's always interesting.
Anyway:
I'm Doug Johnson form Warroad, Mn (SW shores of the LOTWs). Mostly fish and guide out of the NW Angle part of the lake and have a cabin in Whitefish Bay. I've have tried almost everywhere in the lake from time to time and have been on the lake since 1961. I've also fished many of the other muskie lakes in NW Ontario, and they are all great fun, and great lakes!
Currently running a Triton 205 (great boat), with a 225 Merc Optimax on it (great motor so far) 15 hp Merc kicker, Minnkota Maxxum trolling motor, with lots of different electronics. I pull this around with a 1999 Cheve extended cab pick-up.
Heading for Kentucky the end of the month for a couple of months for a little striper fishing. May get to the "Cave" or "Green River" to see if the southern muskies will bite a northern boys lure.

Mount Prospect Illinois (NW burb of Chicago). I cant drive a block without seeing some prime muskie water. Yep. the lakes around here can produce some mighty fine muskie that grow to about 5 inches.. some people say im crazy and that they are bluegills but what the hell do they know. In order to fish for good sized bluegills i have to drive 45 minutes to fish for them on the Fox Chain or go all they way to Canada for a great shot at a trophy gill. I guide in several counties in the NW part of this great state as far East as Lake Namakagon and as far South as Lake Wissota.
I run a web page that reports on some of the fishing in our area. If you ever have a need for help or information about the area don't hesitate to contact me. I help a lot of people out each year with things from lake recommendations to lodging whether you plan to book me as a guide or not. There's plenty of fish up here for all of us! | I live in the brush pile and love chasing the fatheads around all day. But I'm really a sucker for those tubetops that the chicks in the trailer park wear.
Seriously though, I live in DePere, WI which is just a few miles south of Green Bay. I usually fish Vilas, Oneida, and Forest County lakes. | Don Williams, 42 yrs. old, married with 3 young kids- I live in Ames, Iowa and teach special education at Ames Middle School. The preceeding is why I don't own my own boat yet, why I don't get out to muskie fish very often. May co/buy my brother in law's 17' Spectrum w/ 70 Merc, but then I'd need to get something besides the family van to haul it. Need all the help I can get to land my first muskie.

| I'm from a small town in the northeastern coast of Sweden in Europe (probably one of very few international members), and fish mostly from the shore in local waters (lakes, rivers and bays of the Baltic sea). We don't have muskie in Sweden (or Europe at all for that matter) but we do have northern pike and that's my favorite fish. I don't have a boat, never had any, but have been fishing from friends boats at times. Am planning on moving to the US (Omaha, Nebraska) and hope to get into muskie/pike fishing there. |

| My parents didn't actually name me "Waterwolf", (It would have been cool if they did though).
My real name is Paul Clyne, and I live in St. Cloud, MN.
I am the newly elected President of our Muskies Inc. Chapter.
I Just orderd a new Crestliner 1850 FishHawk "Muskie Edition" with a Yamaha 115 4-stroke, and I can't wait to get it wet!
Currently have my other boat up for sale, it's a great rig, but just wanted something more for the "WolfWife and WolfCub." Used to fish alot of Walleye Tournaments, but that ended about 4 years ago when I was invited up to Leech for the weekend to try Muskie Fishing with one of my buddies, and the rest, as they say, is history.
I don't know why I still speak to that guy.
Have a great season in 2002 everyone!

My name is Tony Elliott and I live in West Allis, Wisconsin (barely west of Milwaukee) although I spend little time at home in summer. I have been muskie fishing for roughly 20 years. I mainly fish the Three Lakes chain in Onieda county. When I am unfortunate enough to not be in northern Wisconsin, I fish Pewaukee Lake, and I also will ocassionally hit the Wisconsin River at my secret location X. :) I try to sneak in a trip to Canada every now and then, but sometimes you just run out of time! |

| Joe Mellott from Streamwood, IL (NW Suburbs of Chicago)
LB was a handle earned by pandering for the backs of peoples boats with lunch and gas money, thus I was everybody else's Lunch_Box. Those days are over and I'm seeking a new handle as I have finally got off my butt and bought a boat. 2000 Triton TR19 w/150 Opti.
Typically fish "Lake X", Madtown, Chip, Vermilion, the Chain and several points between. This year I hope to explore some new water in Central IL and maybe Central WI.
ps. Lake X has been closed indefinately due to a highly contageous virus found in the water. Since no cure is known for the virus which can kill humans, nobody can even speculate when it will reopen. |

| Guess I missed the role call too. Wasn't a member when this thread was first posted. Most happy to be a part of it now.
My name is Mike Kagel, I live in Algoma, WI northeast of Green Bay on the shores of Lake Michigan. I fish L.M. for trout and salmon and venture up north to Vilas county for musky hunts. Caught my first musky 35 years ago and have been hooked on them ever since.
My boat is a 20' Wellcraft cuddy cabin more suited for fishing Lake Michigan so I either rent a boat for musky fishing or go with a guide.
I'll be back up in northern WI this weekend night-fishing the full moon period. Look forward to each and every trip.
Tight lines to one and all....

| Hey all, whats up. My name is Nate Lambrecht im 20 years old (look like 16) and I'm from Dekalb, Illinois. However, right now I'm a junior at the University of Illinois down in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. I mostly fish Shabbona Lake, Carlton, Fox Chain, as well as Little Green and other Green lake area waters when I'm up visiting my grandma. I fish out of a luxurious 16 foot northwood aluminum boat (red rustoleum paint) that I picked up for 500 bucks when I was 15, with a mean 10 hp merc on the back. At least its pulled by something cool, a silver 2002 Dodge Dakota 4x4 with everything. See you all at the shows. |
