Location: lansing, il | call me a sissie!!!!! im just fine with that. as a matter of fact everyone who is getting tired of being called a sissie, send me your pink baits ill take them  i love them in stained water, it seems to almost set off a glow in the water, add a holoform or prism to it and looook out!!! |

| In my humble opinion, pink is a very under rated color.
When I paint pearl lures, they always have a pink blush and pink highlights....and fish like 'em.
The combo of purple over pink is my best producer for walleyes on The Mississippi River and also for bass.
I've never done well on just plain pink, but as an accent or a combo color, I think pink is hot.
I've also had good luck with pink in stained water like The Wisconsin River and flowages. Pink takes on a whole different look when you put it in stained water.
We use EVERY other color imaginable, why not try pink?

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | Pink is a sissy color all right. I would never throw pink, it doesn't work a lick. Surely wouldn't throw it in a tannic stained system, it hardly shows up at all. Stick with black, now there's a manly color!
(Here's a secret, I have been known to put on my skirt and toss a pink bait once in a while.)  |

| What Beaver said. People used to shrug off purple too. Deadly colour. LM, pike and walleyes love pink, and I agree, as an accent hue. Purple/pink are a real sleeper combo for walleyes on Lake Ontario, fish from nine to fifteen pounds. if they come out with a #9 Shad Rap in those hues, look out. A pink jighead (Lipstick, Whistler, Fuzz-E-Grub) is a great walleye tool in all water types for me. |

| FWIW, my neighbor was at Bass Pro Shops with his daugher and they were looking at the fish in the big tank. He had her standing right next to the glass and the big muskie swam right over to her and just stayed there...watching. What was she wearing? Pink and purple. Probably a coincedence, but maybe not. |

| My pink grinder spinnerbaits have seen quite a few skies this past year . Tony Grant's tiger photos show alot of pink. Guess it is the hot new color. Check with Grim Reaper............

| Last Labor Day my son brought a friend up from Stevens Point WI (actually he brought 10 guys)
to our Leech Lake cabin. He fished with a hot pink home made bucktail, called it his Jancotail.
On Saturday he caught a 38-40 and a 42 all on the same bait in Kabakona Bay.
Made him promises to send me one when he got home. He sent two so my wife can have on also. |

| All the years I went to Canada with the wife, she only threw Pink jigs with a Chartreuse tail. Kicked my a$$ on walleyes. No way was I gonna throw that combo. No way did I outfish her, either! |

| I have always loved pink Just not on my lures
Ty Sennett asked me to paint some pink Pace Makers for Guides Choice Customs. They should have them for the Ohio show. Geeez i felt a little fagy painting them all pink so i gave them a cool flop dot. well they still look Gay. I didnt even want to clearcoat them. Check them out for yourself this weekend. If your a Girlleyman you might like them!. I also did some gay Jerko's, Squirko's TripD's and Hellhounds. Pornopinks!

| My wife went fishing with me last year and caught one using a pink and white spoon. (Little Cleo)
We started out casting for a while and she tells me she is going to sunbathe in the back of the boat. I said fine.
I kept chuckin my lure for 2 solid hours. Finally she woke up and tried a few more casts and BAM!!!
It wasnt anything special but it had some beautiful markings on it. About a 35 incher. The funniest part of
it all is she says it was all skill.
I guess she knows more than me. Go out fishing for a while, take a nap, catch some sun and then wake up and
nail a musky. Im a believer in Pink now myself. |

Location: Yahara River Chain | Helmman, you beat me to it. I never throw pink, but bubblegum bootail, now that's what I throw. I got two muskies in consecutive cast on an Ont lake two years ago. On that same lake last year I got one off the resort pier as well. I even had one come charging after it in mere inches of water - you should have seen that muskie with half its body out of the water and her tail just making all kinds of splashing. WOW! |

| I tie pink clousers and poppers for crappies and bass. They are great
in stained water. Amazing visibility. No follows from muskies yet on
the "bubblegum" flies, but I think they will be perfect on the Flowage this
year.

Location: Kawarthas, Ontario | Back in 2001, on the closing 2 days of the season, I nailed back-to-back 46.5" fish off of the same structure on the same custom built Seismic spinnerbait with red blades and a hot pink tail. I've also had some success with the massive Eppinger 300 spoon in hot pink on several occasions. Pink does offer not only a high visibility colour, but it's also a colour that very few anglers use.
I have a pile of small ultra-light jigs in hot pink, which I've done very well with for panfish over the years. I've also had some good smallies on pink jigs.
Yeah, I get some strange looks and comments when I use a pink bait... BUT, if I'm catching fish and they aren't, isn't there an old saying about how "he that laughs last laughs best"?

| It has taken awhile for the musky industry to catch on, but the musky fishermen of today are far more "on top of what is happening" than years ago. Pink has been used by many of us that have kept quiet about it for years. In the last 2 years several of the biggest fish taken in Vilas County have come on pink lures.
Stay tuned for more "pink in your pictures!"

| I just got a 9" Hot-pink bandit GSB from Danzyck lures..it adds so much color to my box of lures.. oh it also looks like it will be killer in the tea colored water of lower red. it looks like the kind of lure that glows all the way back to the boat.. I cant wait till i get to actually use the darn thing..
