Subject: green river


planning a trip to green river lake the week of march 19th. Just wondering where u think i should fish. Troll or cast. Any help appreciated.

We'll be down there the same week fishing with Gregg Thomas either the 20 or 21st (whichever is a Monday). Look for us in a black 1850 Crestliner w/ 135 Opti and 9.9 kicker.

I've been told that jerks and cranks in bright colors produce well. Also gliders.

Trolling is usually pretty productive during that time. Lil Ernies and Wileys seem to work pretty good.

If you are going to cast, I would suggest Grim Reaper spinner baits, Rattlin' Shads, Squirkos and Sledges.

Thundersticks and Rat-L-Traps can be very effective early season lures. They are worth a shot.
