Location: Eau Claire, WI | A few years ago I bought a pair of prescription polarized sunglasses from www.actionoptics.com (same company as Smith Sunglasses) for around $200.00 They work very well and are a big improvement over any of the "fit over" styles. I have since bought contact lenses and have a pair of Ocean Waves non prescription. I don't see any better into the water with the Ocean Waves than I do if I am wearing the Action Optics.

Location: Freedom, WI | Had the H3Os with inserts and the lenses were to close to my eyes and my eyelashes would hit them. If your lashes are long do not get them. Get the lenses made by somebody that knows what they are doing if you get them. |

Location: Warroad, Mn | Here's a site that has lots of help with rx sunglasses: http: //www.apairofshades.com/. Their site will tell you what sun-glass are are available with perscripitiion lenses. They have lots of sun glasses for sale!
I bought a pair of prescription Ocean Waves (Kingsley in Backwater green) from these folks and have been very pleased.
There prices seem to be very competive with most I've found on the web and their service was very good.
You need to have a recent prescription from your optometrist. It would be a good idea to spend some time with some
one who actually has these glass to try on so you get something that will fit your head.

| I have Ocean Waves, backwater green for most light conditions and crown royal illuminator for low light conditions. Expensive, but well worth the investment and very durable. |

Prescription polarized eye wear can be very tricky if you have a high degree of astigmatism. If you have this problem you will not be able to wear "wrap around" glasses. Lenses have come along way in the past few years and your eye doctor will know what will work best for you.

| Muskihntr, i suggest you upgrading your glasses to the ones that come with a magnifiying lense too. and a tweezer holder! two things that could come in handy. ha ha.
and i agree, you are so cool you gotta have shades...but since you are so cool and sun shines on you 24/7 you might want to get a top for the boat to help block out some of the sun too. glasses are not enough for a guy like you. get a Bimini top too!
see you soon my man!!!! see you soon!
