Lee Tauchen has been a full-time, multi-specie fishing guide based out of Madison,WI for ten years. Though he specializes in plying the waters of the Madison Chain for muskie and trophy pike, he also has a great deal of experience chasing esox throughout Wisconsin, up through Minnesota and Canada.
In addition to his guiding work, Lee is also manager of D&S Bait, Tackle, and Archery in Madison and owner and maker of Lee Lures Surface Baits ( "Top H2O" and "Water Chopper" ). Lee is a regular writer for Esox Angler Magazine and featured on The Next Bite TV Show with Pete Maina.
Starting at 8PM Central time in the MuskieFIRST chatroom http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/chat/ Lee will be focusing on:
-early, mid and late season Muskies on the Madison Chain.
-topwater muskies and pike
-trophy water fishing: Lac Suel and Eagle Lake, ON.

Location: Contrarian Island | Lee has been working on baits quite a bit lately...He has quite a few Top H20's ready, Choppers and the topper stopper style..His Chopper is by far my favorite and accounted for 3 fish for me 40" and bigger last year...
The bait he caught the fish on the badfish video was the Chopper..i was in the boat with him and saw the fish coming up on it before he even did...He should have lots of good info tonite about the Mad Chain...

| bet you guys didnt get to see his "double" tail chopper prototype he was throwing in the pool at the Chi show,,"wow',,everybody stoped to watch,I tried to get one but he said he had to test it for a year before selling it,,,OK,,but hes getting a call from me on New Years eve saying "your years up",,,gimmie one | |
